Application Deployment | Azure App Service vs. AWS Beanstalk

I spent all day with 8 attempts on Beanstalk, super frustating, only for it to reset yet again.

Azure App Service

Simply and Straight Forward — after creating your resource for Azure App Service follow these steps. This is not for static apps known as PWA/SPA with API data integration.

Create yuor Server App

Create local repo w/ github desktop

Push your app to GH

Azure portal browse your repo

Deploy and visit web site

AWS Beanstalk

Steps — introduce the topic here. An overview of cloud computing, the major providers, and why cloud-native development has become the default for modern applications.

Ensure "Free Tier" is selected

Delete Second Instance

Select T3.micro

Autoscale Choose "spot instance"

Don't Add RDBs

Above configurtaion worked on 8th attempt.

20 minuters later, Beanstalk decided to re-provision my working environment for 2
T3.Large and T3.Small instances both of which clearly are not sanctioned undethe free tier.

Conclusion
Don't waste your time on AWS Beanstalk under the free tier.
Provision an EC2 Micro instance and configure your compute intance manually.
